Having a good day!
Hey ladies,
Sorry again for being so MIA. My mind has still been a bit pre-occupied but I'm feeling good today. I ended up having to tell my boyfriend about my plan to surprise him on our anniversary because he was planning to meet me after work and not come home first. We ended up making a reservation at a nice restaurant and he was totally up for going to a comedy club. I'm very excited!
I'm also pretty sure about what I'm going to get my bf. Yes, I know I need to get on it since our anniversary is Saturday!! I'm thinking a romantic camping trip. We already have all the supplies, I'll rent a campsite for either a night or two. My co-worker suggested it to me. We've talked about going camping together but never have, so this would be awesome. Since this won't actually cost me very much, I'm going to get him some other stuff too. Now, I just need to figure out which weekend is best since at least every second weekend we have his son.
Yesterday, my boyfriend was at the mall and he was walking by a store when a woman came up to him to try and sell him on some nail products. He being the nice guy he is let her talk for a bit and then let her use the product on his thumb nail. Next thing I know he is messaging me asking if I want a mani and pedi kit. Then he sends me a picture of his nail which looked very nice. He ended up bargaining with the woman and got her to drop her price and he bought me the kit! It is awesome. Essentially it is a 3 sided buffer and makes your nails super shiny, to the point that it looks like you have clear nail polish on. The kit also comes with cuticle oil and body lotion. Such a sweetie!!!
Work is busy. I have volleyball tonight. My boyfriend doesn't work tonight so I get to go home to him!! Getting used to shift work is a bit harder than I expected. Like when he was away for 3 months it sucked but seeing each other in passing has been hard. I know we will get used to it though.

I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering how you were doing, glad you posted! Camping is great to do together :) you should try and not go to a campsite, hike out to a mountain and make your own campsite! It's what we do, way more adventurous and exciting!!
