Good morning ladies,
I REALLY thought about staying in bed today and not coming to work. We flew twice yesterday, in and out of Toronto. I was home by 11pm, thank goodness not any later but I think because my weekend was so go-go-go, I am really feeling the long days. I need to try and get in to see my doctor today, so I'm hoping I can leave work early for that and then get home early as well. My babe worked last night again but is home tonight which is nice!! I know I'll get used to the shift work, but I'm already finding it hard to go multiple days when we live together without seeing each other. My work schedule and travel doesn't help much either. Oh well, no complaining!!!
Thanks so much for the comments about the patio/flower bed. I seriously love it. Every morning and night I go and check on the plants. I seriously laughed at my dad's gf when she said she would do that if she had a small flower bed like us, but I can't help but check. So far everything is looking good. I really hope we picked flowers/plants that will be fine in the conditions we have. But it is all a learning game. We kept all the name tags of the flowers so that as the summer goes on, we will see which one's were a success and which one's weren't. The sad thing is, my boyfriend thought of this. I would have just has easily thrown them up. Thank goodness for him! Haha
Even though I've had late nights the past two days, I've still done some weights. It feels great. I've always loved working on my arms. I need to take some time to look up some different exercises to do with the dumbbells.
I have my first volleyball game of the season tomorrow night. Super excited, except the weather sounds like it will be gross. So now I'll be playing soccer and volleyball once a week, definitely doing weights most days. I am going to actually check out the gym this weekend and figure out if it is affordable and if summer is the best time to join. Either way, I'm feeling better about being a bit more active than usual.
My weight is still up a bit from the weekend and I started my period yesterday, but I'm not stressing.
